Elizabeth Callaghan, the principal of Hortus Design, has worked in the industry for twenty years. Elizabeth believes that the basis of any good design is to connect the garden to the house. She pays particular attention to the flow of spaces from inside to outside and creates vistas from inside the house to the garden. Elizabeth understands that every client has different requirements. She listens to these specific requirements and provides opportunities throughout the design process for client discussion and feedback.

Completed projects range from small courtyards in urban areas to larger rural style properties on the city outskirts. Hortus Design are experienced in working on multi-disciplinary teams and with other design consultants on larger projects. Hortus Design also have extensive experience in Council Applications for new homes, alterations and additions, new fences, pools and water features.
